Today’s digital as well as traditional media platforms have made it easier to spread misinformation, even though fake news existed in various forms long before the invention of it.
It is definitely a complex problem to be solved, and it takes a lot of work and time for mass information of the population about proper media education.
The young people of the High School of Zejmen who have followed the path of the project “Media Education as a Cornerstone in Combating Misinformation Among Lezha Youth” have already learned, among other things, to raise awareness within their family, friends and acquaintances about the dangers of fake news.
They already know if they notice someone is sharing fake news, talk.
They have learned to tell about tips and resources so that other people know how to identify fake news and help fight them.
