In this 5th session, our mentor addressed with young people the importance of distinguishing a professional journalist from a citizen journalist. H.A.N.A. Center is, among other things, preparing young people to be worthy representatives of the second group in the near future. However, mechanisms need to be put in place to protect themselves from the ways in which popular portals and anonymous online media manipulate public opinion through fragmented news that is published without regard to official confirmations and in complete disregard of media ethics. It was then followed by psychological trauma stemming from manipulative journalism, especially during COVID-19 and the need for virtual therapy.
