How Easily Can Public Opinion Be Manipulated During Elections?
Last Saturday, at H.A.N.A Youth Center, we held the second session of our training series under the SeeCheck Project, focusing on Disinformation and Misinformation During Election Periods. The session was led by two well-known journalists, Esiona Konomi and Osman Stafa, who provided valuable insights into the ways information can be distorted to influence public opinion.
The session sparked critical discussions and helped participants recognize the importance of verifying information before believing and sharing it. In an era where fake news spreads faster than facts, media literacy is crucial for informed decision-making, especially during elections.
Stay engaged, stay informed, and be part of the movement against disinformation.
These trainings are part of the program “Youth for Truth – Media Literacy to Combat Electoral Misinformation in Lezhë”, supported by the See Check Network and funded by the European Union.
