The semi-finals are over, amidst the emotions and anxiety of the competition, we have a third prize winner and it is the Secondary School “Gjergj Fishta”, Lezha.
In the face of the Secondary School “Kosova” Lezha, they drew the Resolution: “Patriarchate is a clear barrier to the development of girls and women in Albania”, from the group-topics “Universal Human Rights”.
In the panel of judges we had guests
The quality of the debate was admirable, reflecting a high level of preparation but especially sensitivity to the topic which the team that won the first prize defended with skill and conviction that girls and women in Albania suffer the mentality of patriarchy, or the rule of freedoms of expression by boys and men in the family, society and the social and professional environment of life (work, social networks, media, etc.).
Clearly, these young people are a positive premise of equipping our country with some future model citizens who know how to perceive, articulate and manifest the importance of gender equality and justice in Albania.
