This session was the first meeting of the group that will follow the Winter School “Integration into the EU and the Role of Youth in this Process” in the coming months. According to the agenda, this session was designed to introduce the participating youth to the program they will be following, starting with a presentation on the 5th edition of the Winter School, an introduction to each other, and a timeline for the program’s implementation.
The aim of this edition is to increase awareness and engagement of young people in the process of integrating Albania into the European Union (EU).
During the meeting, open discussions focused on the need to involve young people and the importance of their contribution to society. The role of youth in the integration process and the significance of active participation in this regard were emphasized. Participants received information about the program’s journey and components, becoming acquainted with the goals and activities planned for this edition.
Participants also shared their expectations, expressing a desire to deepen their knowledge about the integration process and to understand the mechanisms and opportunities available for contributing as young people. They showed interest in consolidating their knowledge and playing an active role in this process.
The Winter School “Integration into the EU and the Role of Youth in this Process” is an initiative of H.A.N.A aimed at educating and engaging young people in the process of integrating Albania into the EU. The 5th edition has marked a successful start and will continue with other activities that will help achieve its goals.
