The Activists’ Club gathered at H.A.N.A for a research session focused on transparency in the education sector. One research group analyzed the social media presence of schools for the academic years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. Their goal was to identify politicized content in official school posts and assess whether political influences have increased over time. By examining Facebook, Instagram, and other official platforms, the team aimed to understand how public education institutions communicate with students and the community.
Another group focused on researching municipal tenders for 2024, specifically those related to school infrastructure and educational investments. The activists explored transparency platforms to gather data on fund allocations, project execution, and procurement processes. This exercise helped participants develop skills in data analysis and public accountability monitoring.
At the end of the session, participants shared their initial findings and discussed further steps. The club will compile a final report summarizing insights on school communication and tender transparency. Additionally, they plan to explore publishing a report or awareness article based on their research.
