Another follow-up meeting was held at “Hydajet Lezha” High School as part of the ongoing Newsroom Club. The session brought together students of the newsroom teams to review the current status of their articles, reflect on challenges faced during the writing process, and plan the next steps toward publication.
The meeting was structured around open discussion and group feedback, providing a space for young writers to track their own development and receive input from peers and mentors. The participants presented updates on their work, and together, the group identified the progress across three categories:
– 3 articles fully completed, now entering the final revision phase;
– 2 articles actively being improved, with ongoing collaborative effort between team members;
– 3 articles requiring additional follow-up, due to either content gaps, lack of sources, or clarity issues.
These assessments allowed the group to map out a clear path forward and ensure that no story gets left behind. As a result of the session, it was agreed that a new editing workshop will be organized in the coming days, dedicated specifically to refining drafts and preparing final versions for publication.
Clear editorial guidance was also provided to all students, including tips on structure, source verification, and aligning each article with the overall objectives of the project. The focus remains on producing content that is not only well-written, but also relevant, fact-based, and impactful for the local community.
This meeting served as another strong step in empowering young people to take initiative, work collaboratively, and produce meaningful journalism that reflects their perspectives and priorities.
