The Newsroom Club meeting was held today and the main topic of discussion focused on explaining the municipality’s medium-term budget and the role of young people in decision-making processes.
The session explored the structure and composition of the budget, ways to understand it, and the importance of youth participation in shaping the city’s development.

- Understanding the Medium-Term Budget: Participants analyzed how municipal budgets are structured and why it is crucial for young people to engage in financial planning.
- Citizen Engagement with Local Administration: Various channels were presented for citizens to reach out to the administration with questions, comments, or concerns. Options included online platforms, the municipality’s official website, public meetings, hearings with officials, written requests, and emails.
- Youth Involvement in Decision-Making and Services: The discussion emphasized the need for dedicated youth spaces, municipal programs, funding for youth projects, and greater opportunities for sports and community activities.
- Infrastructure and Public Transportation: Participants shared their concerns and suggestions regarding road conditions, infrastructure investments, public transport quality and frequency, and accessibility to public services.
- Waste Management and Sustainability: The group explored ways to raise awareness about recycling, pollution reduction, and improving cleaning services, as well as the role of youth in promoting sustainable practices within the community.
