Info
In winter school sessions, it’s now a tradition to embark on understanding European integration, and to guide us on this journey, we had Nirvana Deliu as our lecturer – a seasoned political researcher with extensive experience in European Union affairs.
We began this journey by exploring the reasons that led to the establishment of the European Union, starting from the date of May 9, 1950, and tracing how this union has changed and evolved over time.
We delved into knowledge about the institutions of the European Union, examining the details of their changes and commonalities.
The lecturer further focused on the process of European Union enlargement, clarifying the phases and criteria that a country must meet to become part of this union.
During the discussions that arose throughout the session, participating youth showed interest in understanding our country’s position in relation to the EU and how we are part of this history.
We concluded the session with a friendly competition, where young people had the opportunity to test their knowledge on the European Union and compete among themselves on this topic.
