Conveyed in an easily understandable and very interesting for young people in this meeting was further elaborated the issue of integration into the European Union. Starting from the role of a European citizen in this organization and then continuing to explain the questions and why this process takes place, what is its purpose, what are the necessary criteria for membership and some of the ways of parallel integration. During this session we also realized that in a democratic state, where there is freedom of expression, citizens have the means to appeal, can go to court and defend their rights, set up a business and not be in competition with businesses that so unjustly supported by politics, benefit from health services and education without corruption. If the reforms have results, they translate as better services for citizens, better education, better health care, faster and more open administrative service for citizens. The citizens of Albania, but also of every country that seeks to join, are the main link in pushing the integration process forward. Membership in a larger organization like the European Union, comes with great benefits, but also with great tasks and responsibilities. Therefore, it is important that this process is understood by the citizens, and that everyone contributes.
Being one of the most current topics the young debaters were asked a lot of questions during this session, and shared their thoughts on this process, whether positive or critical.
