In order to properly learn how a debate session is conducted according to the rules, in the schools part of the “Debating like a European” model we conducted the test round to rehearse the proper structure of conduct and to cover all the necessary bases that are needed before the actual debate takes place.
We explained step by step the procedure to be followed and within each group, in each school, we conducted the test round of debate. The way the information is researched with the proper sources, the role of each member of the group and the importance of the leader and his position.
These were some of the main points that were put to focus in these rehearsals.
