With our youth, we are conducting information, awareness and monitoring of the model of waste separation at source in Rr. Luigj Gurakuqi, Build. 131 + 132 in Lezha.
This initiative is the attempt of H.A.N.A Center to prove that differentiation and recycling is not an impossible task in Lezha.
In addition to the cooperation of the Municipality of Lezha with the bins and the pilot location, the initiative was supported by Europe House Tirana, house of the European Union in Albania with biodegradable tote bags for the which are advised by the youth to reduce plastic bags when shopping.
Plastic is one of the main enemies of life on earth and in Lezha we have not yet started real efforts against it. It all starts with understanding and changing the mindset of indifference that ‘there is no problem’!
