The opening event of the “Anti-Corruption” HACKATHON took place at H.A.N.A.
This competition offers the opportunity to engage in a meaningful journey by combining the power of technology and innovation with the unique mission of addressing real and tangible challenges like corruption and promoting integrity in our community.
In the hackathon we are implementing, enthusiastic young people are involved in using technology and innovation, ready to share and develop creative and useful ideas.
The meeting started with a presentation of the program structure, including the purpose and main objectives of the activity. We focused on sharing examples of ideas for projects that participants could choose to develop, either working in groups or individually. These ideas were discussed to share viewpoints and suggestions.
The conversation was led by the center’s team and their mentor in this journey, Jetmir Shtjefni, starting with understanding the consequences of corruption and then identifying the barriers we face in everyday life due to this phenomenon. Lastly, we took time to talk about the many opportunities technology offers to tackle it through smart and innovative solutions.
Hackathons are a well-known tool for engaging young minds in problem-solving through technology, but in Lezhë, it is the first time such an event is held, and H.A.N.A broke the ice!
