The psycho-social activity that we held with the young people of H.A.N.A was the game entitled: “States”.
In the framework of the “Embracing the European Identity” and since the purpose of this game, which requires interaction and cooperation, is to touch the characteristics of different countries, intercultural aspects, the concept of non-discrimination, integration, cooperation and sharing of a common living environment among different people within a single country, it was considered reasonable that this game be played with our young people, focusing on countries that are part of the European Union.
By first choosing each of their favorite countries, we reached the end of the game with a union of these countries, their values, but also keeping in mind to keep their specific characteristics. As a comparison with what the European Union is today. We learned how values, common ideals and tolerance can be chosen to create a strong community whose benefits benefit every member.
