What happens when we ask students directly about their schools?
At H.A.N.A Youth Center, we’re working to shed light on the challenges of the education system by gathering the voices and experiences of students themselves — and this is just one piece of what we’ve discovered.
The chart below highlights a critical issue: the lack of proper heating and cooling in school facilities — a problem that directly impacts students’ wellbeing every single day.
📊 According to our survey:
40.2% of students say they often face the absence of heating or cooling in classrooms.
Only 15.2% reported that they have never experienced this problem.
These are strong findings — data that speak for themselves.
But this is not the end. It’s only one step in a larger effort, where the information collected will help us better understand the depth of the challenges and work toward building real solutions.
