Last week, we had the pleasure of organizing the youth exchange program “Empowering Youth as Tourism Ambassadors” with the young participants from H.A.N.A Youth Center and ARSIS Initiative, through which we gifted our city a new trail to explore.
This exchange was conducted in collaboration with RYCO, as part of the “Jeunes des 2 Rieves – J2R” program, financially supported by Solidarité Laïque.
During the four days full of activities, the youth had the opportunity to closely explore the history and culture of the city of Lezha, open a new trail on Maja e Kunores in Pllanë, and learn guiding skills for this newly established mountain route. Moreover, they experienced the excitement of an intercity youth exchange, creating friendships and new connections with their peers from different cities.
A huge thanks goes to our collaborators who assisted us throughout this journey: Gjergj Figuri and Fatjon Vathi, Pjetri and Bledi – employees of the Zejmen Administrative Unit, professor Bibe Frrokaj, and others who supported us along the way.
Youth exchanges are a unique opportunity for young people, not only to explore and discover new cultures, but also to develop valuable skills for the future. These experiences help boost self-confidence, promote collaboration, and build new bridges of communication among youth, enriching their personal and professional journeys.
