During the past days, we were visited by about 80 young people from 2 schools; “Father Shtjefen Gjeçovi” School in Lezhë and Milot 9-Year Public School. The young people were in the 9th grade.
Extremely grateful to the accompanying teachers/pedagogical staff who have guided them to H.A.N.A as a positive model of engagement and development of skills and knowledge of young people in Lezhë.
We are promoters of the importance of non-formal education for young people and although public education in Albania declares its support for the values of this type of learning through programs such as “Community Center School”, “Community Service Hours”, “Open Hours” etc., it is precisely schools like these that make us optimistic about the personal and institutional investment that teachers make in the younger generations.
