For the first time in Lezhë H.A.N.A center is implementing a waste differentiation model at the source, in cooperation with Lezhë Municipality.
The model is comprehensive in actors and experience is already not lacking to scale it up, which is exactly our plan which is already underway!
The next one is the meeting with the representative of the Municipal Police, Mr. Nard Palaj. The group of young people that takes care of the citizens’ information campaign, during the meeting, was informed about the role of the municipal police in contributing to peace, tranquility and the smooth running of public affairs within the territory of the municipality.
As the team responsible for piloting the model of waste differentiation at the source in the selected territory in Lezhë Municipality, we asked for the cooperation of Mr. Palaj to reinforce the message of differentiation at the source, not just as a preferential thing but as a clear instruction of the municipality as manager and responsible for urban waste in the country.
We thank Mr. Palaj, Chief Inspector of the Municipal Police of Lezha, who spared no effort in his commitment to cooperation and full availability for the remaining period of the pilot.
