In this session, participants explored transformations and visual effects in Adobe Illustrator, experimenting with tools that help create realistic shapes, advanced gradients, and dynamic color combinations.
During the session, students learned to use:
• Perspective Tool – for creating illustrations in one, two, or three-point perspective, building spatial scenes, buildings, or urban compositions with accurate proportion and visual depth
• Mesh Tool – for producing natural color transitions across shapes using grid points to create smooth gradients and three-dimensional effects
• Gradient Tool – for applying colors that shift from one tone to another, adding light and volume to designs
• Eyedropper Tool – for sampling and matching existing colors from different design elements to maintain visual consistency
• Blend Tool – for gradually combining colors and shapes, creating smooth transitions and dynamic objects
Students applied these tools to create illustrations that combined perspective, color, and gradients, experimenting with light, shadow, and effects to achieve a more realistic and professional appearance.
