What do we need to know about the issue of waste management in the Municipality of Lezha?
The local integrated waste management plan 2017-2021 is the legal document that orients on the waste management of the municipality. This document is nearing completion and a new plan is needed. Strong Municipalities have assisted the Municipality of Lezha in monitoring the implementation of the transition plan and drafting the new plan 2022-2026.
In the absence of making public the finalization process and access to the new plan, H.A.N.A has relied on field investigative research and government portals to summarize the situation of waste management in the territory covered by the Municipality of Lezha.
