| Our young people debated the resolution “Rehabilitation of domestic abusers is more effective than punishment in reducing the phenomenon of violence” according to the controversial model “Karl Popper”. They have been preparing for weeks and on 31 August ’20, they were able to show their debating skills in front of judges selected from key areas related to the specific topic but also proper communication in this debate format. The judges ruled in favor of the opposing team the resolution as they proved more confident and exhaustive in their arguments. However, both teams donated emotional moments to the hall! The girls participating in the debate, Denada, Gjuljana, Desaida, Merita, Cindi and Eralda, gave new dimensions to the concept of debate as we had witnessed before, with their dedication and passion. The judges of the event: Erba Leka (Local Police Directorate), Elisa Nikolla (AAB College, Prishtina) and Keler Sufja (Regional Directorate of State Social Service, Lezha).
