A clever comedy based on the novel “Wild Port and Wilderness” by Barry Crump, which tells the story of twelve-year-old Ricky, a rebellious boy who has spent his life in the social care system who is brought to live in a remote country with Bella and her strict husband Hec. Things change when he is forced to escape into the forest, with hot-blooded Hec , with whom he must now compromise for the sake of new circumstances on the run.
