H.A.N.A is piloting a model of waste sorting at source (at home) for 31 families of 130 + 131 buildings in the neighborhood “Luigj Gurakuqi” in Lezha. This will help us understand how possible it is to implement a more extended scenario in Lezha of the same nature.
From June 3, ’21 when we inaugurated the initiative with the residents and our collaborator the Municipality of Lezha, until October ’21, we have initiated and implemented 35 activities for this purpose.
Recently, we were to distribute brochures drafted by the working group of this pilot to the residents of the area, clarifying them about the roles of the parties and the benefits of the process. This step was important to ensure that information reaches also families who were not home during our visits, this way information is uniform for everyone.
