We are used to accompanying the implementation of our projects, as civil society, with trainings, seminars and speeches and we forget that one of the most effective methods of conveying an awareness message is the artistic habit. One of our projects focuses on domestic violence; and statistics in Albania tell us that over 90% of the victims of this phenomenon are girls and women! Aziz Nesin, Petro Marko, Frida Kahlo, Camille Rainville, Maya Angelou, Mother Teresa, Nazim Hikmet, Wislawa Szymborska, Petrit Ruka, Ernest Hemingway, Miroslav Krleza, Rumi, Dritero Agolli, Paolo Coelho, Luis Borges, were the poets and writers who accompanied our poetic afternoon under the guitar notes of Francis and Keller! HANA Center values art and culture as powerful instruments of civic education, although there is a long way to go to promote another way of spending time for our youth in Lezha, but also beyond! The poetic afternoon came under the care of my friend, media professional and artist Jerida Sakaj. We thank Jerida and friends from Tirana and Lezha for the inspiring atmosphere.
