With the youth of H.A.N.A, we got to know an important figure in the history of our country, Mirash Ivanaj. He was a pedagogue, linguist, outstanding intellectual, humanist and known among other things for his position as Minister of Education 1933-1935.
The reform he made in Albanian education during this time, or as it was otherwise known, the “Ivanaj Reform”, showed the vision of creating, developing and integrating an education system in our country with a western orientation.
The history of his life inspired a conversation with our young people, focusing among other things on the mindset and resistance that personalities like Ivanaj have shown despite the countless obstacles and challenges of the time.
It is extremely important to get to know these iconic figures of our history and for them to have a name that is known by the generations that today reap the benefits of their contribution.
