The next meeting with the ‘Be a Man’ Club took place, during which the young people were introduced to the “Program-Y” and shared their experiences and perceptions related to gender equality, gender-based violence and cultural constructions related to gender. During the discussion , young people expressed attitudes and thoughts that agreed with the perceptions that the social environment and society in which they belong, has created over the years by deepening the inequality of opportunity between the two sexes. The resistance of young people to think and imagine a reality otherwise, where men and women have the same human values, where women are just as capable of making decisions, running families or teams at work, it makes us understand the importance of civic education. Meanwhile, their presence and willingness to be exposed to different opinions and to discuss such topics makes us hopeful that things can be done better.
