Are they at the right time and age to be part of the important discussion on the ways waste is managed in our communities ?! We believe yes! Thus, we are cooperating with the Environmental, Protection, Education and Rehabilitation (EPER) Center, an organization with the necessary expertise to start the discussion with the youth of 3 schools in Lezha. The environmental expert from EPER, Elvis Çela, brought to the attention of the participants the existence of a recycling center in Lezha; we will further explore the function that it currently plays. Among other things, present youth shared the situation they experience in the communities / neighborhoods where they live regarding waste management, including timing of collection from the source (collecting centers). Today’s meeting is the first in a whole series dedicated to the topic of waste management in Lezha.
