Workshop #1 – “Anti Corruption” Hackathon – H.A.N.A

Info
The first session of the AntiCorruption Hackathon Workshop, implemented by H.A.N.A, took place last week.
During this Hackathon meeting, participants focused on identifying and developing solutions for a problem we are addressing with this hackathon ~ Corruption! The meeting agenda was organized into several parts to allow participants to follow a structured and creative process.
Initially, participants were divided into working groups and chose their names. Then, the identification of a specific problem that essentially involves corruption, which each group would address and for which they would find solutions during the Hackathon, was carried out. This phase was conducted using a method called the “Problem Tree.”
The mentor of these sessions, Professor Jetmir Shtjefni, guided the participants to draw a problem tree including its causes and consequences.
The youth reflected on the problem tree to identify challenges for design solutions. They wrote the challenges on a banner using the question “How can we..?”
Participants used visual conceptualization to organize ideas for the prototype they are developing. The discussion focused on sketches showing the user journey of the product.
At the end of the meeting, participants stored their work in their files to continue working on and developing prototypes in the following days.
This first session offered a structured and supportive platform to identify and find solutions in an innovative and creative way.
